To anyone that can tell me whats going on. Lately, I have had my eye on a vacant home in my neighborhood. I found the previous owner who is not much help. They filed bankruptcy and have no intentions of getting back their former residence. I did find out that this home may be owned by SPS. Upon calling SPS they couldn't tell me anything except that they are not allowed to sell the home. My questions are: Did the homeowner try to sell the house to SPS to preserve his credit? (and then file bankruptcy anyway). Is SPS the sole owner and if so will they ever sell it? Who is responsible for the taxes and upkeep of the grounds? Although I am hesitant about dealing with this company as it is, anyone with some info on how this works would be greatly appreciated. Good-luck.
