Predatory lender ripsoff single mom

I re-financed my home June 05 against my better judgement my boyfriend of 18yrs, who I called my husband, said we'd be just fine. We have two children together. We paid mostly his bills. He left, and wouldn't pay his share.

I called Aames and told them the situation, they worked with me, or so I thought! I began looking at my statements, and found that they charged NSF fee's for MONEY ORDERS! Reversed payments, and never re-applied them. Made me believe that I was several months behind. When I questioned them about it, DOUBLE TALK, DOUBLE TALK.

Now I can't get anyone to straighten this out, they returned my last payment (Both names) and placed the loan in foreclosure, Claiming that I owe them $12,000.00 in payments (Most of which they already have) stating that I can only stop the foreclosure if I pay them $12,000 dollars, with attorneys fee. When it never should have been placed in foreclosure to begin with. We had an agreement. Somebody please tell me what to do.
