Ripoff Make Money At Home Westfield

The was an ad in the local newspapers in Cleveland that one could earn money at home by getting HUD refunds to previous mortgage holders. You were supposed to contact the owner, tell them there was a refund from a previous transaction and have them fill out the paperwork. This company would send me the names and addresses of the previous mortgage holders.

As a retiree from the mortgage business, I knew this was true. The company told me they were approved with HUD. I could not get into that website sinced I'm no longer a member and I doubt anyone would think to do so.

Here's the ripoff. I was sent the name after sending them 54.00 for 200 names. They were all so old and some were cut through so you could read the name and most of them had so little coming back that there was no way you could make money.in addition, there was no phone number to call. So I would have to look up all these people on a website phone book that I would probably have to pay for. A lot of the names were common so there would be more than one. The work one had to do was crazy.

The payoff was that you would make 30% of whatever you got for them which was very small - anywhere from $75 to $1000. The paper said guaranteed or your money back. When I tried to get my money back, no one would return my call however they did say they would replace the name with more current ones. Why would I want more current names when that should have been sent to me in the first place. I've learned my lesson (I hope!)
