1st Century Mortgage
Promised sales leads, cash check, lied, did not send leads, avoided calls, changed their names, would not refund money

This company claims to be a mortgage company looking for partners (insurance sales persons and realtors) to work with. They were to supply names of potential clients who had inquired about mortgage thru them and would be looking to purchase a home.

Mr. Richard (whatever his current name is) offered number of leads for a set amount of money, they were also going to put my company on yahoo etc..
Needless to say, after they received my check, Mr. Richard??? Would no longer take my calls. The Receptionist, Darlene, the customer service representative, Johnathan, along with all the other staff, promised to check into the problem and call back... They never called back. They are are in on this scam... Once I asked several of them where the office was and each gave a different city.

Needless to say, I requested a refund and of course they have not responded... Since then, I have found several rip off reports written about this company.

If you have been a victim - you can contact the Financial Insurance Division of New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department to get a complaint form as this company is not licensed in New Mexico. The Department, s number is 505-383-2330. With enough complaints and doumentation they will be able to stop this scamming of people.
