Equity one ripoff charged twice on a mortgage payment

A morgage payment was done using their automated system. Later they contacted my husband saying that he still owe them. So he argued with them telling them that he had made payment already. So he ended paying twice for the same month. We are very upset because we have bank proof and even equity one send my husband the bill and it had the two transactions listed of money that was collected twice.
