Ripoff they're ruining my credit need help please

O.K. I was about 15 years old when i applied for a fingerhut card. They gave me one! I bought 2 things, a football jersey and an electric razor for my dad as a present. I paid on these untill it was PAID FOR. Now Im 24 years old and have a 3 month old son. I want to buy a house for us to live so I checked my credit for the first time ever.

I found this Axsys/Fingerhut junk on there that says I still owe money.$1400.00 The last money I sent had to be in like 1997 or 98. Also Midland Credit MGMT is trying to collect for the same fingerhut junk but my credit report says that the account is still OPEN??? What still OPEN and, I dont owe them any money.

Ive sent letters and called like everyone else on this site. PLEASE does anyone know for sure what I can do to get rid of this 9 year old junk that I dont owe???

OHH and one updated it in 2006 and the other said i opened it in 1999 last active in 12 its junk and i dont know what to do.
