Ipoff, Deceptive Mortgage Practice

Spoke with a Chuck, quoted me a rate, looked like a great deal. I proceed to apply with him, he told me that he would lock my rate in. That is when the contact stopped. He told me he tryed calling. THAN WHY DIDN't HE LEAVE A MESSAGE

After numerous attempts and 4 days later I finally received a call from him.

He told me that the rate was no longer valid and that it would cost me a full 1/2% higher in rate. When I asked him why, he said that he tried to lock the rate but he couldn't. When I asked why, he couldn't answer me.
I went with — , a REAL mortgage company!
Nothing changed with me in four days!

Bad business practices. BUYER BEWARE!
