Freedom Gold ripoff dishonest fraudulent billing

My college age daughter received a phone call on Feb 28 from a man identifying himself as a worker from the credit union she was a member of. He proceeded to tell her that he wanted to reward her for having such good credit so he asked her to verify her account number and she did but then of course he asked her to read off the routing number on her checking account and her being 19 and never having dealt with deceitful people did what he asked. Last week she received a NSF letter from her credit union saying she was overdrawn. She didn't write any checks so after further checking we found out it was an electronic check created by a company named "Freedom Gold" aka Suntasia, etc, you get the picture. The joke was on them though. There was never any money in the account so they didn't get a dime. We closed the account and we were refunded our $25.00 NSF charge from our credit union. After digging on the web I see that we are not the only ones ripped off by this company. Has anyone decided to try a class action lawsuit yet? Is there enough fraud to do that? As far as I can tell no one has ever authorized any debit to their account. Giving your account number out and approving a transfer of funds seems to me to be two different things? Anyway, beware, they are now preying on kids too as I have seen in a few previous emails. How do we as consumers get this company shut down?
