Ripoff refinance nightmare

So I applied for a second mortgage on Lendingtree.com, and shortly thereafter, I was contacted by several lenders. Well, the one who offered me the best deal, was Genisys Financial Corp.

I jumped through all the usual hoops when refinancing - income verification, appraisal, faxing documentation, and finally, notary. Not until I had signed the loan papers, and the notary had left, did I notice that the proposed monthly payment DID NOT include taxes and insurance! Let me tell you, it was made crystal-clear by me that I wanted it included in.

Well, I immediatly contacted Genisys, and my loan rep, Robert Espino, suddenly turned 180 degrees with his attitude, and went on the defensive. He told me that he never told me that he was including taxes and ins.in my payment. Well, he's right; he didn't... I DEMANDED IT FROM THE START!!! So after him arguing with me for a few minutes, and claiming that I was lucky that ANYONE could work with my credit score (my first mortgage, from a year earlier was at a lower % rate!), he told me he would get his manager to call me back. So I wait for about an hour for his manager, but she never calls.

I call and call and finally got a hold of her. She basicaly strings me along, telling me not to take any action till she gets ahold of the lender. I eventually filled out the Right to Cancellelation form, and send it in, as I cannot afford to pay $400 more per month than I already am, at a higher percentage rate. Hopefully it goes ok, and I can move on without complications from this.

So I say to you: steer clear of Genisys Financial, and their dirty bait & switch tactics. This type of sleazy crap should be against the law!
