John Sarris - Stockton Turner and Sarris Lending ripoff big time! Dont use them for Mortgage financing

While we were searching for a lender to buy a house, we were contacted by john sarris. He assured us with our credit rating, that he would have no problem getting us financed. Since this was our first time buying a house we had no idea how the process worked. John LIED his *s off during the whole process. But of course we didnt know a thing until "closing day". We had no idea of the terms of our contract, the fee's. Nothing. All along the way, John told us there would be NO OUT OF POCKET EXPENSES! What a lie that was.

One hour before our closing, my realtor called us and told us according to our loan package (which we never saw), we had to come to closing with $3,500.!!! (That was all the money we had in our savings account) Which of course John knew, because he had a copy of all our bank satements for the last year! We were in absolute shock. We didnt know what to do. We didnt want to loose the beautiful house were buying, and loose our deposit. Not to mention the old folks that were selling us the place and needed their money. So i called John and told him... John you SOB. You told us there would be no out of pocket expenses. Etc... What he had to do so we could close was subtract our home owners insurance escrow account and our taxes, and raise our loan from $184,900, to $190,00 so we would have enough money to close. We ended up closing and buying the house and we're satisfied with H&R block who now holds the note. Our closing costs ended up being aprox. $10,000. (including our deposit! Our closing agent told us that our closing costs were the most she's ever seen! So PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY John Sarris, and STS lending are a RIP OFF!
