Approved for $5,000 in us gov't grants!

I received a postcard in the mail that I had been approved for up to $5,000 in US GOVERNMENT GRANTS. You can use these grants for education, housing... Being that I have some school loans, am a single mom and so on, I thought this would be great. When I called initially, I was on hold about 15 minutes, then I finally got to talk to a DAVID CLINTON. He said YES you are approved for at LEAST $5,000. They only needed my bank acct. And routing numbers. I look it up really quick on line, but saw nothing. So, I gave him the info. I was transferred very unprofessionally, to speak with other people that actually sounded like the same person. I then read some similar situations on this site, and I called my bank. I had set up the withdraw for 3.17.06 for the amt. Of $299.97- but it had been taken just that fast. WITHIN MINUTES!!! Avoid this company!!! I called back and they again just transferred me here and there between 2 people that sounded exactly the same. I told them that I wanted to cancel, they asked my name, and then said "Thanks all set!" then hung up the phone immediately. DON"T fall into this horrid trap...
