Ripoff forclosure to two monthes from supposidly being late. But wouldn't let us make payment arrangements. Des Moines

I recently attained a mortgage from wells fargo & I thought it was a blessing but it turned out to be a nightmare. See I am blind & on Supplemental Social Security Income. My wife receives the same we only get $1,113. A month & I had to buy a new furnace. I let Wells Fargo know I knew that I had a debt to pay & I didn't want to lose my house.

So we talked to a representative from Wells Fargo we explained our situation & told them we had half of the mortgage & will scrap up the rest eight days later & they informed my wife & I that they under any circumstance do not accept partial payments & I was mortified. Here we are trying to make good on a debt & all they are speaking nothing but a line there supervisor told them to quote a customer we felt like we was talking to a broken record she kept repeating herself & told us we had three monthes or they were gonna start procedures to take the house. The next week later we talked to another representative & they tried to argue us down & say we paid.

But I could have let them believe that lie but I was honest & told them I was gonna pay the full two monthes on Feb. 8. Sinse we had fifteen days grace period but that was a lie. They are trying to make us pay late fees plus supposidly a $25. Dollar bad check fee which we never wrote a check to them. The ironic thing is they mailed me a $25. Check & I have no clue what thats for. I am scared to cash it because they may try to penalize me for there stupid mistake. So here we are with no food hardly & threatened light bill cancellation & i'm paying $986. To keep my house. And they might still try to take it. It should be a law that these companies can't take advantage of consumers.

Wait a minute there are laws but a lot of people dont realize it & they do what these mortgage companies say & still risk losing there home we live in Springfield, Illinois & we have seen seven forclosures from Wells fargo in the past two monthes & I look everyday to make sure my property is not in there. My wife has manic depression & it's putting a lot of strain on her she having nightmares about losing her home. When she just put $6,000.in repairs for the home & starting slowly to remodel our house. Was listed at $52,000 but sinse we have improved the property its close to $86,000. And rising so someone please tell us how can we put a stop to Wells Fargo scamming homeowners.
