Ripoff We are exempt from the Do-Not-Call List - the company that ignores the law from the beginning

We have been on the Do-Not-Call list since it started years ago. For more than a year telemarketers left us alone and respected the law. Since 2005 it looks like there is a new breed of telemarketers who don't worry about the Do-Not-Call list. Among these hardliners:

I asked the guy who called around 7 pm: "Is this a telemarketing call?" - "No, I just want to ask you a few questions" When I asked him if we had any existing business relationship and if he had checked if our number was on the DO-NOT-CALL list he said, "No, I just started doing this a few weeks ago and your number was given to me, we are exempt from the do-not-call list".

You can imagine, what kind of training these telemarketing guys receive and how concerned Primeone's management is about the Do-Not-Call list. What makes me concerned is that this company is in the financial business and probably has a license to conduct that kind of business. I was always believing that banks and financial institutions have to adhere more than anybody else to the law but this company obviously feels that the United States of America are a dschungle were laws and regulations can be used to wipe off their butts.

Not really the kind of company I would like to do business with.
