Merchant's Credit Guide

My husband received a collections letter from Merchants' Credit Guide Co. The letter was from a guy named KEN HUGHES. I called the company to talk to the guy, and wouldn't you know it, he just stepped out. My husband never owed any money to KEYBANK, nor did he received a notice from CFB Financial III LLC saying that he owed any money. And the amount is very similar to the student loan we just paid to the Dept. Of Education not too long ago. The letter looked fishy to me, so I looked it up, and wouldn't you know it there it was on this website. I am hoping all names for the Attorney Generals are the same, because I am taking action on these creeps. They are not going to take advantage of my husband. And I am going to go to work, and let them know that if they get a letter in the mail that looks like this one to take the same action as we all are.
