USA Credit - USA Platinum Credit
Unauthorized deduction from account, Rip off, Dishonest, Fraudulent billing

I regretfully applied for this credit card from USA Credit believing I would be joining a legitimate shopping club. I checked out their shopping club site and was stunned to see over priced outdated Junk that had to be paid for in advance! I immediately contacted the company to cancel my application but I was told NO charges would be deducted from my checking account until an information packet was sent for my perusal and subsequent approval so I waited a few days. This was not the case.

My account records (online) showed a payment would be deducted from my checking on Dec. 29 of 2005 in the amount of $149.95. I immediately contacted USA Credit and was told I could not cancel the account. I contacted my bank and the deduction had been made already on Dec. 15 of 2005. They fraudulently deducted $149.95 from my checking account without my approval or permission. I have yet to receive anything in writing from them via the mail.

When contacting the company again, they said I could apply for a refund but that only $114.95 was possibly refundable; a $35 fee was not refundable. I have yet to get that refund or anything else from them; not even an email.

This company fraudulently deducted $149.95 from my account a full 2 weeks before it was even supposedly due and after I requested a cancellation of the account. They were misleading and blatantly lied about sending information in the mail. This is a complete and utter scam! Please do NOT apply to this company or give them any information.
