Ocwen Federal Bank
Ripoff, foreclose, fraud

Ocwen bank took our home and had help with our lawyer who was friend and went to college with one Ocwens laywers. We never had any trouble with our mortage until it was sold to Ocwen. When I became ill I called ocewn to try and work out payment arrangements to get caugth up. Numerous call and please lead us do where but to forebreance and at first chapter 13 to get caught up. When we received the foreclose cnotice I immedicatley called a laywer to help us. We went to his office and told us the first thing we need to do was file chapter 13 to stop the forecloser. He told us he had a laywer friend that worked for Ocwen and we could figure thing out once we stopped the foreclosure. I had told him plus had given out laywer a copy of the money oder and the letter the bank sent us. He said he would take of it, but he said I wouldn't be suprised if we werent back to file chapter 7 because he saw it all the time. At the time we didnt think of what he said because we were both physicaly and mentally drained.

The number of phone calls didnt help at all. Months after filing chaptert 13, the laywer we hired called to state he recieved a call from his freind and that the $10,000??? Was payed and our bankruptcy was dropped by that amount. I asked what we could do and he said nothing. He did everything he could. As time went one we kept receiving notices of being behind and the calls didnt help at all. We called the laywer back and he suggested we come and file chapter 7. I know now that we did the wrong thing but after months of trying to deal with the bank and working 2 jobs I had no choice but to tell my husband, who lived there for over 30 yrs we had to give the house up. We cryed then and still do. Our lives and our sons lives have been turned upside down for the past 3 yras of dealing with Ocwen, we want justice. We also want our house back. It is still sitting there, alone. No one can legally buy it because of the liens and no one wants it but us. It has been in the family for yrs. They are now asking way less then its worth, but yet they wouldn't work with us at all
