Deceptive practices did not contact me regarding late payment contacted my bankruptcy attorney threatened to forclose ripoff

I had filed chapter 7 with a reaffimination of my mortgage. I was running a little behind about 30 days. My lawyer was sent an e-mail of a motion for relief and called me and said that they were going to forclose on me. He told me to contact them immediately which i did this was on december 27 they explained they had not received november payment which they did not receive i even tho it was sent i immediately made a payment over the phone. But my complaint is centex did not even make contact with me regarding this. They told me to contact my lawyer to get in contact with their lawyer. When i called my lawyer he said they should fax (centex) their lawyer the proof that i made the payment and that they would have their december payment by jan 15 my house payments are normally made on the 12th this is the due date. Can they still foreclose because i am on 16 days late please if any body knows the answer please respond they have been rude and just brush me off i am trying to get this matter resolved i am very uspset. And if i am current by next week can they keep threatning me.
