This is a one horse operation that pulls credit reports and seeks out charge offs or old debts to extort payments. I pulled my credit history and I have a clean report - no debt other than my house.

They are trying to collect on a nine year old charge off. They turned it over to an attorney in Houston, Texas with a post office box and who is not listed in the directory for Houston attorneys. I was never notified by Jefferson Capital.

This is a SCAM (SCUM) outfit and I have reported them to the State Attorney Generals office. Anyone interested in a class action lawsuit should consider it. If you call their telephone number they will tell you by voice recorder that their offer is no longer available-primarily because it is illegal.

They have picked the wrong person to pull this scam on.
