Phone Call Claiming to Be Capital One Asking for Personal Information

I'm not sure if this was a credit card scam. But I had a phone call on Sat. Nov. 12. I did give them my address and my social insurance #. I want to file a report if something does come of this. I asked if she was with capital 1, she had answered yes. So I assume this was correct.

I was researching credit cards and came across your web site. I had read some of the rip offs on this site, it sounded so similar to my phone call on Sat. The phone # that the credit card company was phoning from is
1-800-544-9052. Thank you
