Ripoff deceptive company

Ocwen purchased our loan from New Century last July, and we were not notified by either company until Feb. 2002 when we received forclosure papers. We have made all payments on time since finally receving an address of where/who to mail them to.

I send all payments priority mail with delivery confirmation so I can track them and make sure they arrive. Our Feb. Payment was received by them on the 26th, and I received it back in the mail on March 12th.

I called them and finally got to speak to the person handling our account, and he had NO idea about the status of our loan. He was to call me back, and have never heard from him again, despite leaving several messages for him. He also told us to send no more payments until they get it straightened out. I know they are doing this because when we stopped forclosure earlier this year we had to sign a paper stating that if payments were late (more than 15 days past due date) they could foreclose at any time and there was nothing we could do. We have even contacted their attorney who is absolutely NO help either.
I am going to refinance ASAP, and hope that others are smarted than us and never get stuck with this horrible company.
