Rip off-9.95 per month for nothing

I went to a "free credit report" site over a year ago, tryinh to see my credit score and maintasin good credit. The site was so confusing I ended up exiting out, never even seeing my score. I don't recall anything about a charge or membership, I don't even think I gave out my bank info, I CERTAINLY didn't apporve any charges to it if I did. Any way a few months later I notices this $9.95 credit montioring charge, I (being dumb-and forgetting about my " free credit score" experience) assumed this was a service of my bank.

I didn't recall ordering it, but figured for $10 a month to maintain good credit-I'd keep it. Then last month I went to the bank to find out how to UTILIZE this service I was PAYING for. Thats when I found out, this was NOT a service of my bank.

So I got online and decided to try to call this CIC and find out what this was, thats when I saw ALL these complaints, reading through some I tied it all together, and I too had fallen victim to the " Free Credit Score" SCAM. I was able to cancel with no trouble, But based on other complaints, I sure it won't really be THAT EASY.

I've Called my bank who has been helpful, and I've filed a dispute for this month's charges, but I doubt I will ever see the $9.95 they've been collecting for the last 15 MONTHS. Guess this goes to show, NOTHING is ever FREE, not even a credit score!
