Emmitt Lewis ripoff-fraud-harasse

I recently did a loan with the Cornerstone Group. Emmitt Lewis acted as my loan officer. During the process their was lack of communication and professionalism. He would have his processors contact me who did not know what was going on with my loan.

Emmitt acted as if he was the Broker of Record, but I had just recently found out that he did not become the official broker until August.

At the signing of my loan I was never informed of all of the fees nor did I receive disclosures. I had asked several time for him to send it to me and the processor confirmed that they would be sent. I still have not received the disclosures.

At my signing, they asked for my origonal signature on an application that had already beened signed. After the signing, when I got home I noticed that that signature was not mine and that it was forged. I have tried several times to contact Emmitt but he doesn't return my phone call.

I took my loan papers to a different mortgage company who explained to me that I could have gotten a 1% lower interest rate and not have paid the $12,000 in points. I still have never received a copy of my appraisal.

I was referred to Emmitt from my coworker who just told me today that he was recently arrested and has a drug problem.

I wonder how he can sleep at night knowing he conducts business in an unethical.
