Compass Bank
Ripoff, deceitful, liers Phoenix AZ

Business & Finance

They will lie to you. Hold your chech till there is not enough money in your account to cover it. I wrote a $5 check three months ago. Kept calling the bank and the company I wrote the check out to to find out what happen.

The Co. I wrote it to told me they sent it through two months ago. So i ran into hard times and needed to clear my account and guess what comes through the $5 check. They charged $36.00 for NSF and $6 per day overdraft fee.

So I called as soon as I found out that this had happen. Went down to the office to see if they would stop the charges so I could pay my debt. And they said tuff it's your fault. They we're rud to me.

I felt helpless because every one I talked with lied to me and there was nothing I could do about it. Ended up paying $300 for a five dollar check. Something don't seem right.

They also dont tell you that in order to recieve your money back from using other atms. That you must bring in the atm reciepts. Then they will take forever to reemburse your account. I never used to request the reciept from the teller because it's shows up on your bank statement as atm with drawal in the amount of $22.00

So every one knows you can only takes twenties out at a time. So When they told me I had to bring in my reciepts I thought this is a bunch of $#@T... This bank is a rip off they care nothing about their customers.

Ripoff charged overdraft fee when money was in bank, they had put a hold on it. I guess they don't need or want the business of an individual that has just a small amount of money
