Ripoff loan scam for those with bad credit, charge 25% fee to guarentee loan approval

First Target Financial is a complete Scam! They prey on individuals with bad credit in need of loans. This company is easily found online simply by doing a search and they have a website that appears to be official however, they are not.

After completing the applciation online, I recieved a phone call indicating that I was approved for the amount I apllied for and of course I was extremely happy and relieved because I was in desperate need of a loan. However, the process was not as simple as they made it sound-I had to submit a down payment of 25% of the loan I was requesting.

It did in fact seems suspicious to me so I went over the paperwork with a few people at my job and also went online to review their website and they seemed to be completely legit. The finance charge was also very low and it appeared to be a great opportunity. I managed to collect the 25% which was over $1,000 (it was not easy-I had to borrow money from friends) and send the money Western Union as they requested specifically.

After sending in the money I called the company to verify that I had sent it out and they assured me that the funds would be available the next day. They next day there was No Money and I had a phone call from the company saying that I needed to supply an addition "Insurance Fee" due to my bad credit. At that point I knew I had been scammed and immediately said I no longer wanted the loan and wanted a full refund.

They tried to persuade me to send in the additional money and even went as far as to say they can send in "Official Paperwork" from the President of the company guarenteeing that I would be receiving my funds. I still cancelled the loan and they said I would receive a full refund by check in the mail 7-10 business days later and today its been 11 business days and still no refund check!

I had to report them to Phone Busters and file a scam report with the credit bureaus to make sure they didnt use my information. First Target Financial is a Complete Scam so Please Beware!
