Bank/Credit/Debit Card Fraud by bogis company

I was checking my on-line banking statement for my checking account for which I use debit/checkcard frequently. I noticed a charge for $9.95 from a company I never heard of: burdetting.com 801-407-1342. I Googled the name and number and a Blog came up with hundreds of people complaining about the same situation, some with higher charges. Seems alot of them tried to investigate even further to find out that this is happening everywhere.

Alot of them say their Bank and Creditcard companies won't bother to investigate because the amount is so small. Well multiply $9.95-$24.95 by the amount of people complaining (not to mention those who have not stepped forward or even caught the charge). Most of those people indicated that they had made payments to Palpal, Ebay, or purchases on-line.

No one seems to be able to figure out how their Bank/Credit/Card numbers were compromised. Some of the people reported different company names associted with the scam, however most of them indicated the same phone number associated with the transaction 801-407-1342. The question is, who do you report them to and how do you go about shutting down this Scam Ripoff Ring?

I am going to contact my Bank today and see if they will credit my account for the charge. I realize $9.95 isn't alot of money, but it's my money and I want it back!
