Doug Hincklin Aka Precision Funding ripoff, Doug Hincklin lies, misleads, and is unprofessional and misinformed

Doug Hincklin, a loan officer with Precision Funding, took every chance available to take advantage of us when we were looking to secure a loan with Precision Funding Corp. I understand that mortgage brokers are in it to make money, but Doug Hincklin flat out told lies and avoided direct questions to achieve a higher mark up on the loan.

On the day of closing, we were told that the rate had fallen through and we were being charged a full point more if we still wanted financing. He also tried to hide the fact that there was a prepayment penalty in order to refinance the loan. We were told, quote, "If you know whats good for you you'll take this loan" We attempted to find alternate financing, but he threatened to "make sure we lost the house if we didn't accept his rate" He also said, quote, "I'm only making a couple grand on this loan, I oughtta be making alot more, your lucky" and our credit was insulted repeatedly. We were told he was giving us the wholesale rate, but it turned out he held back over a full point for his own greedy pocket along with over $5,000 in closing costs.

Bottom line was, he was great when we were interviewing him, but once we had crossed the point of no return he became rude, cocky, uncaring, and a complete liar. We were RIPPED OFF by Doug Hincklin and Precision Funding Corp.
