I refinanced my home and ended up with a higher monthly mortage payment at a higher interest rate and a 3 year interest penaly if I pay the loan off early. I payed Ameriquest Mortgage Company $12,000.00 for this new loan. I was not aware of this until the current mortgage company called and verifed the new loan. I realize I signed the mortgage paper work, but I feel this information should have been made clear at signing and not mislead.
