Ripoff Lie, Cheat, Steal

HomEq bought my loan only 2 months after its orignation.

They shorted Escrow by $10,000 over two years, even though the total costs for taxes and insurance during that period were $6,247. The other $4,000 was fines and fees.

They doubled my mortgage payment. They foreclosed. I filed chapter 13. They held my mortgage payment checks for 10,30, 60 days. Checks bounced (of course) They petitioned for relief of stay from chapter 13 and won (of course) They foreclosed again. I wrote Ken Thompson, Chairman and CEO of Wachovia. He promised help. His help was $4,200 a month payments. We're about to become homeless. Wachovia/HomEq is the most unethical company I have ever dealt with, and it wasn't my choice to do business with them.
