Illegitimate Companies targeting innocent, hardworking individuals, ripoff

So... How stupid do I feel for trusting a company that guarantees a loan for people with not so perfect credit? I contacted this company on 07/28 and applied for the loan on the phone.

On 07/29, the company calls me and tells me I have been approved for $8000.00 and they are going to fax me the contract to sign. I received the contract and see that they are requiring a deposit for insurance on the loan.

I figured, that is not uncommon. (I have never gotten a loan before) So, they contact me and tell me to Western Union the $551.64 to Ontario, Canada and I would receive my funds in my bank account within an hour after they receive the money.

Needless to say, never received the money. So I contacted the company on 07/30 once again to see what was going on and was told the intern typed in the wrong code and I needed to send another $279.00 to Kingston, Jamacia... Stupid me did it!

On 08/01, the money was still not in my account so I called them once again. I asked for a refund and was given the run around and continually hung up on. Here it is 08/04, and the company refuses to answer my calls.
