Card services ripoff, greedy

Chase charges way too much for interest and apr%. You end up paying twice as much in interest alone, then they try to settle for p of which you only owed 15 % anyway. I am going thru this with them now. I stopped paying due to unemployment, however i had the insurance which is supposed to protect you from this. To make a long story short my $700 credit limit card is now at $1690. This card was from walmart which i applied for about 4 1/2 years ago.
