Ripoff withdraw $299 From Checking Account, this company promises a credit card with high credit limit, then disappears off the face of the earth

I was fooled by these people, spoke with an agent named Kris Williams. They got my money, but I didn't get so much as an information packet!

I finally got some contact information from my bank, they gave me a phone # for Amerinet, the company who was processing the payments. I spoke with a rep at Amerinet, who informed me that they stopped working for AFS at the end of January. She also informed me that Amerinet has turned AFS (or AIG, Ltd) in to the Florida State Attorney General.

I spent about 45 minutes on the phone with a rep from the Florida Economic Crime division today, and have filed an official complaint, one of THOUSANDS that they have on file. You all need to go to (link deleted - see below) and go to the bottom of the page where it says Help Us Stop Fraud, and file an official complaint.

It is my understanding that the people posing as AFS are now hiding out in the West Indies.

I will repeat word for word what the rep told me today:
They can't do anything if they don't receive complaints!
