Versa Talk ripoff Fraudulant charges to my bank account

I went to the bank the other morning to make a withdrawal, only to find my account overdrafted by over one hundred dollars. I went in to the bank to find out what was going on. They told me a check had gone through. Imediately, I said I don't write checks. They looked it up and a check was written by phone in the amount of $199!!! To top that off it was in my wife's name who has no access to the account or any of my account information.

After speaking to my wife she said someone called and started asking questions. They asked where she banked from. She said the name of my bank, but gave no further information, numbers names ect., and hung up.

The bank is totally on my side, as they are liable for allowing the transaction to take place anyway. The teller I talked to told me to contact these people to find out what they say.

I contacted the processing center that processed the check for Freedom Gold. They told me to fax my bank information to them, From the bank, and they would promptly mail my check. I informed the Teller this, and she right away said no, I'll call them, can you have a seat.

So we called. The guy on the other end was not happy with what the teller had to say. When she asked what Freedom Gold was, he put her on hold. Finally they said they would send me a check, to cover what they tried to steal, and the bank will charge me no fees.

I wish I could see these people, but I don't know what I can do. At least I'm covered by the bank, so it's not going to cost me more than a headache. These people need to be taken out.
