Ripoff, unauthorized withdrawal from bank account

Freedom gold electronically withdrew $149 from my account. When I called this company they stated that there were two other company affiliates distinct advantage and teleflex.

I got mail from teleflex including a calling card free trail that I never used and threw away. Then I got mail from distinct advantage that stated to call a # by Dec. 22 to cancel free trial so there would be no charges. I called the number by the date on the letter.

Then a week or so later I get a letter from freedom gold (which I had never heard of) that stated the same thing, to call the # by Dec. 22 to cancel. Well, I got the letter on Dec. 26th so time had past to cancel. Not knowing what it was anyway it just ignored it.

I went to the bank two days later to deposit money and when I got my balance it was way off. Then looked at the account with me and they told me there was a electronic check #999 for $149 to freedom gold. I asked to dispute the transaction because I didn't know who it was.

I later called the # the bank provided for freedom gold. They said I cancelled one thing and not the other. What? I went on to say I never asked for this stuff and it arrived to my house after the cancellation date. The rep. Was rude and gave me a hard time. I asked for a refund. She said once the funds were available to their company they would issue a refund. She said she would put in a request, but I needed to write a letter to request it as well.

When I asked why I needed to write to get my money back that they should have never taken anyway. She tried to brush me off and end the call. I told her that this company is a rip off and will be disputing the transaction. I was trying to ask for a supervisor but she hung up on me.
