RPM Collections
MCI Worldcom Wireless Aka Verbal harrassment from collection agency for debt that is not mine

Business & Finance

I was the victim of identity theft 2- 3 years ago.

I have recently received numerous hostile and extremely aggressive calls from an collection agency called RPM Collections of Bothell, WA, wherein the agents try to get me to pay between $2,000 - $4,000 in unpaid wireless phone bills.

On every occasion I asked for a paper copy of the debt so that I could return it with a copy of the police report from my identity theft and to dispute the debt in writing.

The agents, especially a woman named Peggy, who always calls me on Sunday, literally SCREAM at me and say things like, "You know this is your bill, NOW PAY IT!!!" When I calmly tried to tell her that my identity was stolen and this wasn't my debt, she refused to listen. I have requested numerous paper bills to be mailed but they have yet to send me one.
