Scott Lowery - Collect America - CACV Of Colorado
Ripoff, unjust collection practices

I was contacted on or around March by CACV of Colorado also known Collect America and Scott Lowery Law Firm. This company demanded money claiming they worked for MBNA, I have since contacted MBNA as I did not have credit with them and have had them removed from my credit report as unsubstantiated.

However CACV of Colorado/Collect America/Scott Lowery have since filed a suit against me and raised the amount of what they feel was owed from 7600.00 to 16000.00. THey have also stated that I was notified of an Arbitration by some company called National Arbitration Forum. I was not notified.

On January 3 I was awaken at 6:45 by a process server for these people screaming my name, demanding that I open my door and banging on my windows. At that time of the morning I wasn't dressed for visitors and needed to change, the server continued to scream and demand that I open the door or he would tell my neighbors that I was a deadbeat. All this for a credit card that I am in the process of proving I did not have. I took this case to a local attorney which angered CACV of Colorado/Collect America/Scott Lowery, they have threatend sanctions on her practice and have initiated goon like tactics to make her drop my case. These people must be stopped. They are in violation of the debt collection practices of the United States.
