Ripoff in the military stationed in Japan no help from anyone

We are stationed in Japan. We purchased a home in Maryland, and our mortgage was sold to Homcomeings Financial. My husband was on business, and I received the tax information for taxes. They also sent mailings for payment due. This was a second mailing, which I was unaware of. I wrote the checks and mailed them. My husband informed me, that he had paid for that month already.

I headed to our bank on base, and placed a stop payment on the checks. Homecomings performed a forced electronic payment on these checks. Now we are bouncing checks all over the place, due to the fact that my husband just payed another payment.

This is extremely poor business practice. I tried calling, but cannot speak to an actual person. I am extremely disappointed in how they conduct their business.
