Providian - Emerge
Ripoff the rate went up to 29%

I open this account with Providian with low rate about 19% and than I recieved a letter that Emerge took the account and the rate went up to 29% and I pay the bill every month and the bill only goes down a few dollars cause of the high rates they charge. I canceled my card but still have to pay the bill which it will take for ever to repay at their rates. I Pay about 35 Dollars and they charge me 29 dollars interest.
