Ripoff, scam, dishonest people! SCAM SCAM DON't DO business with these PEOpLe

Well I just received a letter in the mail today, saying i owe cardservice international #300 dollars. If I don't pay it they will put it on my credit report!!!

I opened my merchant account for 1 WEEK, and NEVER even USED it AND they want me to pay them 300 dollars. THATS A RIPOFF.

So I NICELY tried calling them to straighten this out, cause surely it was a mistake. RIGHT?

Well I talk to a lady named JESSICA (wouldn't give her last name), and ask her WHY I owe 300 dollars when I closed my account 1 week after I opened it and never used it.

She just said it was a CANCELLATION FEE!!!

Then told me i had to talk to the collections department! And transfered me before i could say anything!

Why do I need to talk to collections? All they wanted to do was TELL me to pay the bill!

So after calling AGAIN, and AGAIN, and getting the same RUN - around I just decided to FILE a consumer complaints.

ITS obvious they don't want to try to straighten this out, or even try talking to me about this. All they want to do is MAKE A FEW QUICK BUICKS!!!

AND its also OBVIOUS by all the people filing consumer complaintsS on this company, they are DISHONEST, THEIVES THAT need to be shut down..

I think I should have to pay something for opening a merchant account for A WEEK, then cancelling it. BUT 300 DOLLARS I DON'T THINK SO!

Maybe I will file this with the attorney general office, like the previous customer who had problems with them in regard to charging excessive "penalties..

I mean what's my options THEY are gonna put this on my CREDIT REPORT.

All I wanted to do was work something out so it wouldn't go on my CREDIT, but I'M not PAYING 300 dolars for 1 WEEK of having my account open, that was never even used.
