Ripoff increase in intrest rates

Chase recently raised my APR for 10% all the way to 27%! I have been a customer of theirs for years and have NEVER been late. As a matter of fact I have always paid over the amount due. When I learned of the increase I called CHASE and they refused to lower my rate regardless of how good of a customer I have been. The manager advised me to "send a letter". Like that will do anything for me.

I feel this is completely unexceptable and extremly tacky on their part. I have never been so disrespected by a company in my life. This should be against the law!!!
