Here is my story.

My husband and I have had some credit problems in the past. We needed to obtain a home loan to purchase a house from my grandparents. Being that our credit had problems Ameriquest was the only ones we could find willing to gives us a loan.

It took them over three months to complete the loan process. And when we finally prepared to sign papers the rates were way higher than they promised they would be. The only reason we went through with this was because we needed the loan.

At the time that payments began to come due we did not have a checking account. Ameriquest assured us that they would accept money orders. So for the first two payments we sent them money orders. At that point we thought everything was fine.

Then about two weeks before our third payment was due someone came to our house stating that Ameriquest had sent them because we had not yet made a single payment. We were atonished because we knew this just was not true.
When we called and spoke with them they told us we were liars and that we had to send them three payments immediately or we would lose our house. We told them that we could not send them three payments because we had already sent them two payments and only owed one.
They absolutely refused to do anything to remedie the situation. We sent them one payment. Which is all that we should have owed but they still insisted that we were delinquent. So they started procedures to get us out of the house. Now they have the house padlock so we cannot enter it. And they have set a sell date for the house.
That is not even all of the horrible stuff they have done. We bought the house from my grandparents and now Ameriquest is saying that my grandparents co signed the loan and are responsible for payment. This is so false. How can you co sign when you are the sellers?
If you are considering using Ameriquest don't!!! They will rip you off. Ever since this has happened to us we have had many people come to us and tell us that they to were ripped of by Ameriquest. There is a lady who lives just a few miles from us who has had almost the exact same experience as us.
