First Nation Credit
Ripoff Scam by letter in Mail-claims from First Credit CCC

Business & Finance

My Grandmother recieved a letter claiming to be from First National out of Omaha. It stated that she was required to call 1-800-362-5357 and the last four digits of the security code and then the 13 digit account number listed. When you first call the number ask you to press 1 for English or else it talks in Spanish. Then the automated dialer asks for the four digits of the security number and then asks for the 13 digit number. There is a pause on the line and the automated dialer says nothing. And then boom it asks you for hte last 4 digits of your social security number. I of course did not do this!!! I called the number back to check and I think it recogized that I had called before. Registered my number as it did not after pressing one ask me for the security code anymore but just the last four digits of my SS number. THIS IS A SCAM...

Other information to note is I called First National Bank and thought at first maybe the 1-800 number I called was a genuine number as the automated person speaking was one and the same. I talked to a representative on the phone who told me that they hired the guy to talk for the phone service. The FRADULENT COMPANY has also HIRED the SAME GUY to do their phone service talking. She noted that it was a SCAM! If you receive this letter do not worry! You have no account registered with First National Bank unless you registered an account yourself. No charges are made!
