Bb&T - Mindy Branch Manager
Bb&t/mindy branch manager ripoff! Deception on checking account overdraft protection

Business & Finance

On March I opened a checking account with BB&T Bank in Louisville, KY. Mindy Jaffe former branch manager was the one who opened my account. I had asked for constand credit for overdraft protection, when finished with the paper and signing so many papers, I remember I asked her if this overdraft protection was the same as it was with my prior bank, she assurred me it was. She also gave me a credit card line of $5000.00.

Several months go by and I messed up on my checking account, to make a long story short. I hadn't realized that the over draft protection was coming out of my credit card. When I called the band I spoke to Richard Owens, Mindy was promoted, I explained to Richard what had happend to my credit card, (I was maxed out) on the credit card. He had me sign for a constant line of credit, I was denied, then he had me try to get an increase on my credit card, I was denied.

I keep getting in the mail overdraft fees letters when I have not used my account for about two weeks. I checked my account and still have the same amount, but I keeped recieving these notices. Now I have not been able to pay my bills, due to the fact that everytime payday comes my check goes to BB&T...
