Paid off a transaction with the Brick with bi-weekly automated payments from my bank account. Once paid off, I stopped the payments online with my bank. A glitch on the banks side continued to pay The Brick (TD Financial Services) for another 2 months. When I realized this I contacted TD and requested the money back, this was October 3rd. She told me they would indeed send me a cheque but could take 3-5 weeks which is b.S. But what was I going to do. End of October I enquire and was told the cheque was in the mail and should be in any day. Called the 14 November and was told that because we had just made a purchase at the Brick, that the $520 they owed me was applied to that purchase. This is where I became irate. How can they apply money to a purchase weeks after they told me I should receive the cheque any day. Obviously the attendant lied and no cheque was ever cut for me. $520 is a lot of money and it's now been 2 months since my first call and apparently this case is with an adjuster. No one has contacted me in any way. The adjuster has had it for almost 2 weeks now. Total b.S. Customer service. The Brick is the one that's losing here because I most certainly will never deal with them again.
