GE Interest After Promotional Period

Am I the only person that read the terms of the "no interest" promotion when I financed via GE? I had become so adjusted to auto-paying the monthly charge I forgot that my two years were up and the interest would be backdated. I called about a week after the interest was applied and the representative was very helpful. As long as I payed the remaining balance within 30 days they would reverse the interest charges, which I did, and all interest was reversed. I went into the call expecting nothing because I did indeed surpass the timeline, but was pleasantly surprised with the leniency. I will never understand negative reviews where essentially these people are really bashing themselves for not being responsible enough to hold up their end of the bargain when GE held up theirs.
