Ripoff False claim non working numbe

I found out on 12/11 that i supposedly had a unpaid bill to at&t for $313 when i havent had an account since 1995. I tried all the numbers I could find for this B*sh*T company and they dont have a working number. I called the three agencys and they said to contact at&t and have them write a letter stating that i did not have an account with them and that would be the only way i could get my credit fixed. I dont understand how someone could just send in something stating that you didn't pay a bill and the credit agency accepts it. Then when you tell the agency they dont have a valid number they tell you well they are busy calling people to get accounts straightened out. If so many people say this company is a fraud then something should be done!!!
