Ripoff Harassing Phone Calls to WRONG NUMBER!

For the past several months, Drive Financial has been calling and leaving messages on my answering machine while I was at work - looking for a "Cheryl Munoz".

My name is not Cheryl, you'd think they'd get that from the answering machine message. But no, 4 or 5 times a day they would call, the message was always the same.

I've had this phone number for 2 years, and I am the first "owner" of it.

Last night I was dealing with a family emergency and called in sick to work. At 2pm, Drive Financial called. I ignored it and got the same stupid message as always. Half an hour later, they called again.

I picked up the phone and the rep asked to speak to Cheryl. I told her she had the wrong number, and she started calling me a liar. I explained I've had this number for two years, and I dont' know Cheryl. She asked if my phone number was correct, and I said yes, but it's NOT Cheryl's. She continued to pester me, asking where Cheryl was. I don't know Cheryl. I don't know where they got MY number. I have never even heard of this company before all this.

I finally get her off the phone, hoping by now these phone calls will stop. Nope, they call FIVE MINUTES later. This time it's a man - perhaps manager? He asks for Cheryl. This time I let him have it.

I told him as I JUST explained to his rep there that this was NOT Cheryl's number, I don't know Cheryl, and he needs to delete my phone number from his records NOW.

If you are so cutthroat you have to harrass people who aren't even tied down with debt in your company, you really need to be put out of business.
