First Link Benefit
George Stanley credit card fraud and rip off

Business & Finance

My husband and I were contacted by someone named George Stanley stating he was contacting us from First Link Benefits and was offering us a credit card with a $2500 limit and a $5000 transfer limit.

I was very sceptical and asked several questions but he was better than I was. He had all the answers to my questions. I explained to him that I had been off work for several months with a difficult pregnacy and we really did not have $354.90 at this time to pay the set up fees. I told him this was the money to pay our house note. He explained that as soon as we received the card we could get a cash advance to replace this money and pay the house note.

Well, needless to say we never got the card but he did take the money out of my checking account. I contacted them several times and they gave me a tracking number (finally) and I was told to contact the USPS and track the package. When I did this, the post office told me that all they received was a "intent to send a package" and the package was never actually mailed.

So the tracking number they gave me was not good for anything. I have tried several times to contact this company and retrive the money I feel was stolen from me. How do these people sleep at night? I could not take money from people knowing that they would never receive the product they were promised.

All I can say is that I hope they make peice with God before they pass. This is a horrible thing to do to someone. This has really hurt my family. Here we are at the holidays trying to scrap money for a house note and buy gifts for our children. What kind of world has this become?
