A solution to the cca rip-off

To all of those who have been ripped off by this company, my apoligies. I have received about 5 of these wonderful letters in the mail and have actually gotten phone calls at my home "you have been approved" don't fall for it.

I actually almost went through with it but they wanted my bank information, i work for a bank so there was no way i was going to give that info out. I hear stories every day. My boyfriend received a letter and a pre approved credit card in the mail, he thought it was great. He asked whether i thought he should do, i didn't really ask any questions i just told him to make the decision, so he did and gave out the banking infomation that they asked for. So know they have all the information they need to empty our account.

I went to work the next day and looked at my account, the money was not taken yet, so i decided to get online and came across all these horrible stories, so i put stop payment on the check and also put a lock on my account so nothing related to cca, first national, capital credit alliance or the such could be debited on my account. This has worked so far.

So my solutions to this horrible scam is this don't do it, if you have already signed up but the money has not cleared your account, put a stop payment on the check and all cca debits, if all else fails close the account so they can not take money out that you may not have, that brings more debt. Good luck to all.

Oh when calling to cancel the service call 800-760-4045 and do not hang up, you may wait a while, but it is worth it. Also they will hang up on you if they recognize the number so call from a number that is not traceable or that you did not give them.

If you call and speak to someone or if you call and they hang up on you use a different phone because that number that you used is now in there system and they will continue to hang up on you.
