Scan ripoff

I received a call about a month ago from someone saying that i was accepted for a $2500.00 credit limit credit card, with no interest for two years, credit line would be moved up to $5000.00 after 3 months and i would get a free computer out of the deal, all i had to do was give them my checking account and bank routing number for a charge of $354.90. I gave them my information and immediatly had my suspisions. I called the 1800 number they gave me to cancel it and it just clicked and hung up when i called, numerous times.

I told my bank about them and they said they called the number and it was legit. I tried calling for the last few weeks, never getting a real person and leaving tons of messages with no call backs. Today i finally got a hold of someone who said they could not cancel the order or move the date up like they said i could if i called the number. I called my bank and the only thing they can do is close my checking account. So, tomorrow i am going to my bank and closing my account. I never got a name from the company that offered me this deal until today. I am so glad i did otherwise i would have never found this site! I never got anything in the mail from them, never a call back, never anything they promised, not even the coupons other people have claimed to have received.

Some people on here have mentioned filing a law suit. I am COMPLETELY willing to help out with this case. If anyone has any information or needs help with this lawsuit, feel free to contact me. I am located 100 miles north of nyc and can not travel too far, due to my job, but if written claims/digital claims/phone conversations would be of use, i would be more than happy to help out.

I feel like a complete jackass for falling for this!
