Ripoff again

I have been battling with HomEq for 2 years.
First, I acquired the deed to my property through a divorce decree. My ex'es name is on the loan, not mine, but I took over reponsibility to pay it. When I would call to get info, they on numerous occasions refused to give me any info even though I was responsible for the payment.

I fell behind in payment with them a few months ago. I let them know the circumstances, tried to arrange a reasonable payment to send them temporarily, they refused to cooperate. Then I tried to refinance to pay they off. I informed them I could pay them off in two weeks because of the refinancing. They didn't want to send a pay off statement at first.

When the refinancing did'nt go through, because of their lack of cooperation again, they threatened to foreclose on my house, in Jan. Then I found this sight. I am not surprised this exists. Theses people are ruthless and need to be stopped. Class action suit sounds good to me!!!
